When you add two or more items to your cart with different delivery times - including pre-orders - we’ll ship everything together in one package

Returns & Exchanges

Yes — we want you to absolutely love your new jewelry. If you're not completely satisfied, we're here to help make it right.

 

Please note the following return guidelines:

 

  • Final Sale Items: Products marked as Final Sale are not eligible for return or exchange.

  • Mystery Boxes: All Mystery Boxes are final sale and cannot be returned or exchanged.

For orders placed between November 11, 2024 – January 31, 2025:

We’re offering an extended 60-day holiday return window. Simply initiate your return or exchange through our return portal within 60 days from the day you receive your parcel, and follow the step-by-step instructions.

 

For orders placed on or after February 1, 2025:
We now offer 30-day returns. You have 30 days from the day you receive your order to process your return or exchange through our return portal.

From time to time, we release exclusive pre-order collections featuring brand-new, unreleased designs. During the pre-order window, all items are available for purchase.

Once the pre-order period ends, only the most-loved pieces — based on customer demand — will move into our permanent collection.

 

This means that by placing a pre-order, you’re not only reserving your jewelry in advance, but also helping shape the future of Moon Magic’s designs.

Floating Collection

The elastic, transparent band is crafted from durable and flexible nylon, a popular material in jewelry making. It is designed for longevity, comfort, and to adapt seamlessly to the body part it adorns; this is where the floating magic happens.

To extend the lifespan of the band, avoid contact with sharp objects, chemicals, perfume, color intense food or beverages and excessive heat. Clean the jewelry gently with a soft, damp cloth.

The band can break if it is overstretched by 200% or regularly subjected to significant stress like pulling or wearing it a size too small. Handle the jewelry with care and avoid stretching it too much; it's a ring after all, not a hair tie ;)

It is generally recommended to remove the jewelry when swimming, showering, or washing your hands. If you want to prolong the lifespan of your jewelry it’s best to avoid wearing your ring in the pool or sea, as exposure to chlorine or saltwater can potentially damage the silver, vermeil plating, and the beauty of your gemstones.

The lifespan of the elastic band depends on the frequency of use and the care it receives. With regular use and good care, it can last from several months to years.

Many pieces with elastic bands are more flexible in size than metal bands and can fit various fingers. However, if the band is too tight or too loose, it cannot be adjusted. Get the right size for a perfect fit. In case you are between 2 sizes choose the next bigger one to avoid the band digging the finger.

Store the jewelry flat and separate from other pieces to avoid tangling and damage. A soft, dry jewelry box is ideal, the perfect storage is the beautiful box it was shipped in.

Over time and with regular use, the elastic band may lose its elasticity. While the band is 200% stretchable, stretching it beyond its limit can cause deformation.

With regular use and exposure to influences such as sweat, lotions, sprays/fake tanning products, cosmetic products and also environmental factors, the transparent band may become cloudy or discolored. To minimize this, keep the jewelry and your hands clean, avoid contact with mentioned products and store it properly when not in use.

Note: Discoloration issues are not covered by our warranty.

Our nylon bands are designed for daily use and offer excellent durability. However, regular cleaning and avoiding extreme conditions and contact with color intense products including food will help extend their lifespan.

The sizing is similar, but it’s important to ensure the band is not too tight to avoid discomfort or pinching. We recommend measuring your finger carefully and choosing a size that offers a snug but comfortable fit. In case of doubt: size up.

Avoid Harsh Chemicals: Keep the ring away from cleaning products, perfumes, lotions, and other harsh chemicals that can weaken the band.

Minimize Stretching: Avoid excessive stretching or pulling on the band. Remove the ring gently to prevent overstretching.

Limit Sun Exposure: Prolonged exposure to direct sunlight can degrade the band over time. Store your ring in a cool, dark place when not in use.

Clean Regularly: Clean the band gently with mild soap and water, and dry it thoroughly to maintain its elasticity and appearance.

Remove During Activities: Take off the ring during activities that might stress the band, such as swimming, heavy lifting, or manual work.

The Gemological Institute of America is the world’s foremost authority on diamonds and colored stones. Our gemstones are submitted to the GIA authority to be tested and they are then certified if they are up to the gemstone industry standards.

 

The GIA uses 4 established principles, famously known as the '4Cs', to test the authenticity of diamonds and gemstones. These principles include 1. Cut 2. Clarity 3. Color 4. Carat Weight

 

In addition, these tests also determine detectable treatments and whether the gems are natural or synthetic (fake). We only use gems that are given positive, natural grades by the GIA independent tests and, because of this, we are able to guarantee the authenticity of our gemstones.

IGI (International Gemological Institute) is one of the world’s largest independent laboratories for testing and grading the authenticity of Diamonds. All Moon Magic Diamonds from the Pure Diamonds (US only) collection are backed by the IGI standardization and care.

They are known globally for their precise and prestigious study of colored stones, pearls and fine jewelry pieces to ensure that consumers can be confident when purchasing jewelry.

 

Unique from other fine jewelry certification establishments, IGI is the only organization of its kind and has over 20 operating laboratory locations around the globe. It’s also the world’s only gemological laboratory that holds ISO (International Organization for Standardization) accreditation, a prestigious standard for calibration and testing of natural Diamonds.

Our jewelry is made from a range of precious metals, including the following: nickel-free 925 Sterling Silver, Platinum-plated 925 Sterling Silver, 14k Solid Rose Gold, 14k Solid White Gold, 10k Solid Rose Gold, 10k Solid White Gold and 18k Vermeil which is nickel free 925 Sterling Silver plated in 18k Rose and Yellow Gold (this coating is 50% thicker than traditional gold-plated pieces, keeping it beautiful for years to come), and brass, a highly durable and recyclable metal alloy.

Brass is a durable metal alloy that can be recycled an infinite amount of times, making it an ethical choice for our jewelry. Brass is used to make jewelry because of its durability and beautiful, high-shine finish.

 

Our brass jewelry has an 18kt yellow, rose gold plating, or rhodium plating for silver finishes. On top of the plating, we add an additional e-coating – a thin, transparent coating that adds durability, preserves the plating, and also makes the metal hypoallergenic, meaning that even those with metal allergies can wear it. It’s also tarnish-proof and water-resistant.

Pronounced Ver-may

 

Vermeil is a legally regulated term and means simply sterling silver that has been completely covered in 18k solid gold, meaning your one-of-a-kind jewelry piece lasts a lot longer without fading or tarnishing than regular gold plating.

 

Our gold plating is thicker than average at 2.5 microns thick. Just like all our pieces, we mostly use recycled metals for our Vermeil jewelry.

Our entire collection is hand-crafted locally, where our real gems are sourced. Most of our talented crafts(wo)men add their magical touch to your pieces in Jaipur, India, the renowned capital of authentic gemstones.

Any jewelry made with copper such as Sterling Silver and Rosé Gold items can tarnish slightly over time, however, for many people, this is outweighed by the beautiful properties of natural metals. This means the finish can potentially leave behind a surface mark on the skin when worn. This coloration easily washes off with warm water and a mild soap.
If you do see a slight blackening in your piece it is nothing to be alarmed about and the ring can easily be brought right back to it's shining self with a jewelry polishing cloth.
 

Any side effect caused by the natural properties found in our jewelry is temporary, unavoidable and not valid for a refund.

Keeping your gemstones gleaming is easy! Wash your jewelry with warm soapy water and a soft-bristled brush, like a toothbrush. Pat dry using a soft microfiber cloth and store your jewelry in a safe, dry place when it’s not being worn.

 

Try to avoid harsh chemicals that can lurk in everyday products such as lotion, perfume, and hairspray as well as household cleaners like bleach.

To be safe we recommend your jewelry is the last thing you put on and the first thing you take off when you get home.

What is covered under the warranty?

Our warranty is valid against any defects in our materials and/or workmanship. Our warranty does not include insurance against physical or accidental wear and/or damage happening outside of our normal returns and exchanges policy.

Our warranty doesn’t cover lost items, scratches that come with normal wear and tear outside of our normal returns and exchanges policy (like a bent ring or broken chain/thread), improper use or storage of your jewelry, improper care of your jewelry including contact with household chemicals, hygiene products like make-up or perfumes, discoloration of stones and nylon threads caused by water, chemicals, sweating, make-up, cooking, prongs wearing out, stones lost by everyday wear, natural inclusions and imperfections of stones and any modification to your jewelry done by a third party outside of Moon Magic Jewelry. A Starter Kit is a collection of multiple rings selected by style experts that not only offers savings compared to buying them individually but also provides endless styling possibilities.

Every starter kit includes a best-selling gemstone ring (or two) and a variety of stackable rings, all designed for effortless accessorizing.

Why settle for single pieces when you can have them all and save big? Nonetheless, you can find the individual rings included in the kits available for purchase separately on our website.

Unfortunately, we’re unable to accept returns or exchanges for individual rings within a Starter Kit. The entire bundle must be returned in full, and within the regular return timeframe outlined in our policy.

Yes, each Starter Kit comes in a single set size. However, it's important to note that the sizing isn't limited to just one finger! Our expert size advice is to concentrate on your primary fingers—the ring finger, middle finger, or index finger for the most striking effect.

Diamond Certification

A diamond certification is a quality report card for your precious gem.


It is a process where IGI (International Gemological Institute) authenticates the quality and characteristics of your Moonstone Diamond, providing you with a formal document that testifies to its value, quality, and authenticity.

Your diamond certificate includes a unique code confirming the diamond's cut, color, clarity, and carat weight.

 

Once your diamond has been tested and approved, your diamond piece will be stamped with a code that matches the certificate - adding an additional layer of security and authenticity to your precious gem.

Adding a diamond certificate requires an extra 10 working days of handling time to ensure your diamond piece is certified to perfection.

 

Please keep in mind that these are 10 additional days from your diamond order confirmation email!

Even though, our gems undergo regular GIA & IGI lab testing for quality assurance. Diamond certification, in the form of a printed document, is only offered for pieces that are $500 and above - for peace of mind on higher-value pieces.

Please note that diamond certifications are only available for new diamond purchases and can't be applied to diamonds bought previously.
